Over ten years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to a movie she loved, the period drama Pride and Prejudicestarring Kiera Knightley and Matthew Macfayden. I kinda knew the famous story by Jane Austen, and as a fan of anything historical, romantic and British, I was hooked. Of course, I have read the book a couple of times more since seeing this film version, and I have carried my DVD copy throughout several moves and even on my first ever trip to the UK.
