The Coterie's Teenage Actors classes allow young actors to continue their growth and exploration as actors by taking more in-depth classes that introduce them to the various techniques of acting. Come and learn what the performance world has to offer! Each week you will explore a workshop on a different topic: ranging from stage combat to accent work, applying acting skills at each session.
The Rose produces several teens-only shows each season, where teen participants are given opportunities to act, direct, write, design and stage manage. There is no cost to participate and the program is open to all interested students. Please note the audition schedule for each show.

After the experience of the project T. Theatre European Engagement NetworkTeen Ambassadors across Europe is a European cooperation project that aims to develop a sustainable and scalable inclusive audience engagement methodology, programming theatre for young audiences through a co-curatorial approach. In the next 2 years 6 partners through 4 co-curatorial workshops and 8 Kitchen Table meetings in 11 festival in the field of young audiences theatre, will produce a programme of co-curated performances with the goal of enabling culture professionals to better reach an increasing number of teenagers across Europe aged 10 to The set of the discussion is a Kitchen Table where they will be sat all together sharing visions, wishes, ideas and point of views with all the other guests who may wish to take part in this new adventure.
A creative space for Chicago's teens and Chicago's Ensemble to learn new theater skills together and understand what makes an ensemble so unique. Each year, a Council made up of 30 high school students from all over the Chicagoland area come together weekly to learn the inner-workings of how a professional arts organization operates. Council members annually attend over 30 plays throughout Chicago, participate in workshops with leading theater professionals, and collaborate as an ensemble to curate teen nights at Steppenwolf.
