TPS helps student parents stay in school and be successful by making sure their children receive high-quality child care that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond. TPS also connects parents to a variety of services to help them graduate and succeed after school. Students have the opportunity to study and receive services in their own school or at Longfellow High Schoolan alternative school focused on teen parents that is co-located with an Early Learning Center.
Teen Parent Services helps young Moms and Dads confront challenges and create opportunities. Our mission has been to provide teen parents with support and resources to help navigate their lives as parents and as students. Academic support, Counseling, and Advocacy are our primary services.
The ELECT staff provides academic and social service support, case management, home visits and group activities. Helps families on a path to success with one-on-one support. Program that seeks to empower young mothers years old with the skills necessary to compete in the workforce- GED prep.
We serve all female students referred needing pregnancy related services once identified. Teen parents are served throughout completion of graduation with parent related services. Through individualized education, advocacy, and support services, Teen Parent Related Services TPRS will support and empower teen parents to be confident, academically successful, and responsible individuals.

Healthy Families and SEEDS child development and parent education programs offer young families information and support to nuture a strong parent-child attachment and promote healthy growth and development for their children. Home Visitors provide age and developmentally appropriate activities using the Parents As Teachers curriculum, and offer assessments to ensure the children of our families are meeting developmental milestones.
